General InformationOn May 31, 2002 Farmland Industries, Inc. and certain affiliated entities (collectively the "Debtors") filed voluntary petitions under Chapter 11 of title 11, of the United States Bankruptcy Code in the United States Bankruptcy Court for the Western District of Missouri ("Bankruptcy Court"). On December 19, 2003, the Debtors' Second Amended Joint Plan of Reorganization, as Modified, (the "Plan") was confirmed by the Bankruptcy Court. Pursuant to the Plan, the Effective Date of the FI Liquidating Trust has been established as May 1, 2004. JP Morgan Trust Company, National Association is the Liquidating Trustee ("Liquidating Trustee"). Pursuant to § 7.4 of the Plan, the Liquidating Trustee shall make cash distributions to holders of Allowed Claims as soon as practicable after the Effective Date. Note: All capitalized terms shall have the meaning set forth in the Plan. GENERAL QUESTIONS AND ANSWERS | How much of my claim has been paid? | Class 5 and Class 7 creditors have been paid 100% plus plan interest. All distributions since 2007 relates to the Trust’s ownership of Class 8 preferred shares.

| May I expect further distributions on my claim? | Perhaps. Reorganized FLI, Inc. may make additional distributions if more cash becomes available. At this time, there is no estimate for additional distribution amounts, nor have any specific dates of future distributions been set.

| What is a Beneficiary Tax Statement? | The FI Liquidating Trust was created on May 1, 2004 under the Bankruptcy Court confirmed Plan of Reorganization of Farmland Industries, Inc. for the benefit of the creditors of Farmland. A Beneficiary Tax Statement is a means for the Trust to report to each beneficiary, such beneficiary’s share of the income, gain, loss, credits, and deductions of the Trust for its tax year. |
